Die Qualität, die Arrangements, die Künstler, das Orchester und der Chor Fine Fleur... waren 2013 unantastbar stark!
Amy Macdonald begeistert mit vier gut ausgewählten Songs. Die Setlist ist von der Dramaturgie einmal anders aufgebaut. Am Schluss endet die Show in einer gewaltigen Licht- und Klangwolke. Ein fast göttlicher Moment!
Wyclef Jean gibt alles, was er hat. Wunderschönes Intro vom Orchester zu `Killing me softly´, die Cover `Guantanamera´ oder auch `No woman no cry´. Zudem gibt uns Wyclef einen Einblick in die RNB Zeit der 90er. `Ready or not´ ist wohltuhend anders. Zum Abschluss noch die `Hips die nicht lügen´. Ein gewaltiger Schluss der Wyclef Jean Show. Man fühlt sich an Shaggy erinnert. Er springt, tanzt, rappt, geht auf die Leute zu, ...

John Miles präsentiert 2013 einen modernen, jazzigen Song, neben `Music´. Leider kein weiteres Duett oder ein weiteres Rock-, Pop- oder Filmwerk. Nichtsdestotrotz beeindruckt er das Publikum mit seiner großartigen Qualität. Für Liebhaber ein zu kurzer Auftritt von Mister Music.
Hiromi ist eine begnadete Künstlerin. Ihre Technik an den Tasten zu bewundern, ist atemberaubend!!! Auch wenn die dargebotenen Werke sehr lang und zum Schluss teilweise im Freetyle enden. Dies ist nicht jedermans Geschmack, aber bewunderswert!
Gloria Estefan sorgt zum Schluss für Lebensfreude. Ganze sieben Werke gibt es um die Ohren! Die Party zum Schluss ist dank der letzten Songs (`Turn the beat around´, `Conga´) ein kröhnender Abschluss. Das Finale Let´s get loud´ passt optimal zur Show 2013. Was für eine Stimmung. Danke!

The Proms are like a great wine: it has to rest and get better until it flourishes. After a couple of adjustments all the musicians, the artists and organizers are a bit more relaxed, because the edition 2013 has become a top edition!
Everyone glorifies the qualities of Il Novecento, Robert Groslot and the sounds and videos. Fine Fleur and Wyclef Jean have become the audience’s favourites. Amy Macdonald and her presentation convince everyone, also the not fans. Mr. Proms, John Miles, gives us great quality in Feeling Good and he remains a Mister with a capital M. With that many talents Hiromi can surely be a bit less modest and Gloria Estefan brings us the Latin atmosphere.
If we had some (justified) critics after the first evening, we must say that they have melted for the most part by now. Who still has to go, enjoy the Proms experience!
